APPELLON CHAIR, KEN BOUNDY, TALKS ABOUT THE POWER OF WORKPLACE CULTURE

Published online and in their latest publication, Appellon Chair Ken Boundy, writes for Company Directors Magazine (part of the Australian Institute of Company Directors).

Ken's article has been written to help highlight to boardrooms and CEOs about the pivotal role culture plays in the long term success of an organisation. From what makes up a happy workforce to the challenges of the modern staff engagement survey, Ken seeks to help enlighten the 'Chief Culture Officer' - aka as the CEO - in what they should be discussing with there fellow Directors and internal peers.

"The alternative is to define organisational values and goals and then describe aligned “signature behaviours” that will deliver the desired outcomes, committing everyone to collectively achieve and measure them." says Ken, "Research at Regnan shows a clear correlation between a company’s delivery on desired behaviour and outperformance across the ASX 200 companies."

You can read Ken's article 'Why your board should prioritise cultural transformation' (1 August 2019) on the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) website (using the above link).
